    Kerressey McGurn

    FOUNDER

Kerressey’s yoga practice began when she was searching for ways to counterbalance the physical and mental impacts of her career as a hairstylist. Assuming the practice would mostly benefit the aches of her body, it was the ancient wisdom and personal insights that had her completely fall in love with yoga. Eager to learn more about the yoga philosophy and deepen her physical practice, Kerressey embarked on the 200HR Yoga Teacher Training at Ritual Vibes Yoga.

After over a decade behind the chair, helping clients feel beautiful and confident, she brings that same purpose to the mat. Her mission is to teach others how to look within and find their true authenticity through gratitude and strength. During a class with Kerressey, you can expect a great playlist that sets the tone, a consistent uplifting energy, and a vinyasa flow that leaves you feeling refreshed and radiant. She believes that when we feel good about ourselves, we do better for those around us.

Kerressey opened Lighthouse Yoga & Wellness with the vision of creating a space that feels like home—a place where community thrives, self-growth is nurtured, and everyone feels welcome just as they are. She wanted to create a supportive environment where people could come together to move, breathe, connect, and grow. Whether someone is stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning as part of their daily ritual, Lighthouse was founded to be a beacon of light—a reminder that healing, strength, and transformation are possible when we show up for ourselves and one another.

When Kerressey isn’t on the mat, you can most likely find her with a coffee in hand, listening to a good podacast episode, or reading an interesting book. She loves learning new ways to make the most out of life, and enjoys creating memorable experiences with those around her.

    Ciara Kilkenny

Ciara discovered yoga at a young age, inspired by watching her mom practice. It wasn’t until her senior year of college, while navigating anxiety, that she truly fell in love with the practice. Yoga became her anchor, helping her slow down, quiet her thoughts, and find peace both on and off the mat. This transformative experience led her to pursue her 200-hour yoga teacher certification at Ritual Vibes, combining her love for movement, mindfulness, and community.

Ciara’s teaching style is rooted in intention and accessibility, blending grounding flows with moments of stillness to create space for self-discovery.

Whether you’re stepping onto the mat to manage stress, build strength, or simply find a moment of peace, Ciara’s hope is that you leave class feeling empowered to take what you learn on the mat—whether it’s balance, patience, or courage—and apply it to your everyday life.

    Lauren Sullivan

Lauren. recently completed her 200 hour YTT in early 2025, but has been practicing yoga for about seven years. Early on in her practice, she was amazed at how she felt after a yoga practice, and once she dove deeper into the true practice of yoga- the part that intertwines with all aspects of our lives, she was inspired to learn more.  Lauren’s class entails a gentle ease into the practice, followed by building heat and energy within the body, and to finish, slowing down to rest- all with the background of a fun playlist.

Lauren is a school counselor within a therapeutic program and hopes to continue to intertwine the practice of yoga with her work. When she is not in the studio, you can find her on long walks no matter the season, cooking a yummy meal, or reading a book cuddled up next to her cat and husband. We hope you join Lauren in continuing to build our practice together as we empower each other to show up for ourselves and others on and off of the mat.

    Kristin Bourdony

Kristin discovered yoga almost two decades ago while working in a fast-paced corporate setting in Boston. What began as a midday escape quickly evolved into a regular practice and a lifelong path of self-discovery. During those early days on the mat, she realized yoga was more than movement, it was a path of transformation.

After years of feeling that quiet call to teach, Kristin listened to her soul and completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) at Universal Power Yoga. This experience deepened her connection to the practice and inspired her to continue with Meditation Teacher Training (MTT) at Soulspace and then went on to study Yin. She remains a devoted student, continually learning and growing with gratitude for the wisdom of her teachers.

Kristin draws inspiration from nature, like the steady strength of mountains, to guide students toward their own inner summit. Her classes blend mindful movement with a strong focus on breath and presence, helping students reconnect with their bodies, hearts, and inner knowing. Classes are grounding yet energizing offering space to grow from within. She invites you to move with intention and live more fully awake and alive.

Off the mat, you’ll likely find her working on a creative art project, reading, hiking, chasing a sunrise or sunset, or at the beach with her family. She looks forward to welcoming you into class and guiding you back to your true self.

    Melissa Laquerre

Melissa completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 while living in Boulder, CO, and she’s been teaching ever since. Her yoga journey started quietly in the back corner of the studio and has grown into a deep passion that now brings her to the front of the room as a teacher. A sunrise enthusiast, Melissa loves leading early morning classes that energize the body, connect movement with breath, and build heat—always followed by coffee, of course. She is also a certified Holistic Wellness Coach and committed to learning, growing, and supporting others both on and off the mat.

    Chelsea Smith

Chelsea is a certified yoga teacher with 500-hour AYT and a background in science education. She brings a unique perspective to the practice of yoga by weaving together the wisdom of ancient yogic traditions with scientific understanding, creating a rich learning experience that honors both body and mind.

Her teaching extends far beyond asana (physical postures) to encompass the transformative power of pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. She guides students in discovering moments of stillness within the mind, fostering a deeper connection to their inner wisdom and natural rhythm.

She believes yoga is for every body and every person. Her classes are judgment-free sanctuaries where students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced practitioners—can explore their practice safely and authentically. Mary Walek

Yoga came into Mary’s life at a time when she was feeling stuck in both her body and her mind. She was living with a chronic illness that limited her ability to exercise. She attended her first yoga class over twelve years ago, and immediately felt upliftment and fulfillment in a way that she had never felt before. Through over a decade of personal practice and self study, Mary has learned that yoga is forgiving of our limitations, it doesn’t judge. It adapts, it restores, it gives us strength.  Her hope is to guide her students to share in the joy and peace that she feels when she practices on her mat.

Mary Walek is a 500 RYT with certifications in meditation, prenatal yoga, hands on assisting, as well as kids/tween/teen yoga. Mary brings a playful, nurturing and uplifting spirit to her classes while making the practice accessible to all levels of experience.  She encourages her students to mindfully explore what yoga is beyond their mats, creating an opportunity for them to be refreshed, free of stress and open to new possibilities.

    Ewelina Szymczak

Ewelina discovered yoga while navigating the emotional demands of her work in ABA within a school setting. In the midst of a fast-paced, high-energy environment, she sought calm and clarity - and found it on the mat. What began as a way to balance stress quickly became a daily ritual, a source of energy, and a pathway to deeper connection - with herself and with others.

Through yoga, Ewelina found more than just movement; she found a community of like-hearted people and a lifestyle rooted in mindful living. Her practice became her anchor - helping her create space within, organize her thoughts, and flow through life with more ease and intention. For her, yoga isn’t separate from life - it is life. A practice of making conscious choices, of softening and strengthening, of showing up fully in every breath.

Ewelina’s classes reflect her vibrant, creative spirit. Her vinyasa flows are energizing, playful, and thoughtfully sequenced - sometimes challenging, always safe - designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you're looking to ground, recharge, or simply move with joy, the space she creates becomes yours to explore, express, and exhale. She deeply values creating a safe space where people can simply be - supported, seen, and free to move at their own pace.

She holds a 200-hour Vinyasa certification, is trained in Yoga Sculpt and trauma-informed yoga, and is currently pursuing her 300-hour advanced training. Outside the studio, Ewelina is passionate about mindfulness, ocean air, artistic expression, spending time in nature, and creating community - always on the path of growth and happiness.

When you practice with Ewelina, you’re not just moving - you’re coming home to yourself. Come check it out!
